Parting out a 1987 Monte Carlo LS. White with blue interior. Located in MA. (Lance, no comments...) Manual windows (Doors have rot on bottom), split bench, tilt column, LG4 car with working CCC and AC, very built 2004R with trans cooler, 2800 stall, and zero miles on it (This is a transmission I picked up from MAP a few years back. If serious, let me know and I can give you more details, but it will not be cheap. Plan right now is to keep it for another project). Most of the suspension goodies (Was a project autocross car) have already been stripped/have their own For Sale threads on here, but let me know what you're interested in. I'll be listing prices as I continue to strip the car and inventory parts.Current condition as of this weekend (I have all of the LS trim, but already started removing the driver's side): ![[Linked Image]](https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4343/36395513905_076f188617_z.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4407/36258727751_18b88d573f_z.jpg) Planning on taking a sawzall to this thing, so anything is fair game. Very much prefer larger parts to be picked up locally.

Sad to say, but yes. https://bangshift.com/category/general-news/nut-driver/I got 95% of the way through replacing and upgrading the blown transmission, only to find a good amount of body and frame rot. That, along with an old 1850's house to restore and now a 3 month old baby girl put this one to pasture. No plans on selling the SS, however.

Sad to see, especially an Luxury Sport build, but if there is severe enough body/frame rot, it's probably for the best. The parts will live on.

I know it's a terrible sight, but being a New England car it wasn't pretty once I started getting the undercoating off.
Definitely a bummer for me as well.

Honestly, I don't know if it was converted over. Looked to be all original, but I wouldn't know what to look for. Will rear bumper cover fit an SS? Far as I know the rear bumper is the same between the LS and 87/88 SS.

It will fit and is the same shape, but the LS has indents for the chrome strips and small holes with it for the factory chrome to help attach.

Parts still available? You were online yesterday 8/23 but no responses? Correct, parting out this car/replying to forum posts is not a full time job for me. Prefer to sell the nose (Fenders/front bumper) complete, and fenders definitely qualify for "Very much prefer larger parts to be picked up locally." If you really want a fender shipped to you, I'll look into actual shipping costs, but it won't be cheap. I'll be stripping more of the car this weekend and will post up pics and prices for parts, including those that people have been asking about.

can you give me a price for the windshield trim and the LS molding trim that goes on the doors and fenders? I bought the windshield trim from another member here a year or so ago but UPS destroyed it.

Ninja, I need a few parts from it. 1. I am looking for the complete e-brake setup from the foot brake all the was to the rear driver side drum. 2. I need the complete hood latch assembly as well from the latch to the release handle w/cable and hood spring. 3. Both hood springs (for my new metal cowl hood)
