Let's say I wanted to get new wheels and tires so that my 85 could look like this. Is that all there is to it, just new wheels and tires or does something else need to be done? Any idea on what pricing might be?

Looks like the classic "big and skinny" drag look on Weld wheels and Mickey Thompson slicks.
Unless you have the power to pull slicks, you might be wasting money. The big and skinny is meant for straight lines so street driving that involves driving around curves will be compromised, like a lot of understeer.. Expect to use more gas and if you have power and a posi to properly use slicks, your 7.5 10 bolt will not live with those tires.
Slicks may not be street legal either.
I don't think that was mini-tubbed, try to avoid a stinkbug stance when doing something like this. Stinkbug is jacking the rear to make big tires and wheels fit.
Stinkbug example is this Nova.

Had something like that on one of my old Montes. I had 275/60/15 on 8" rims on back. I put cargo springs in the back to lift it about an inch or so because the tries were to close to the fender wells. And 215/70/15 on 7" rims on front. I put 2" drop spindles on the front. I'm old school, and like the big tire little tire look.
