Are you asking if the Q-Jet rebuild kits are safe to use with 10%-15% Ethanol added to gasoline? Yes.

The only part of the EM4E that is truly susceptible to erosion from ethanol is the accelerator pump bushing.
Just about every carb rebuild kit that has been manufactured in the past 20 years is using Viton ethanol friendly rubber.
So any kit you get from Autozone, Oriellys, Napa...etc....will work just fine.

Some of the kits from chain stores can be low quality, even NAPA. My carb had a blue viton accel pump seal that did fail after 2 years. Got a replacement seal from Cliff who advertises he has better seals, 3 years so far and the seal is still good.

THanks, I have no problem rebuilding it myself.. have done many q-jets.. Do the ccc ones have the same shaft vacuum leak issue as the older non ccc q-jets.. that 9 times out of ten need bushings.

Yes the CCC carb have the same issue with throttle shaft bushing wear, and it's even more critical to not have a vac leak there on a CCC. Any air pulled into the engine there will upset the idle mixture and cause the dwell to go rich as it tries to add fuel for the lean mixture.
I've done many Q-jet shaft bushings. On the CCC especially you need to push the new bushing past the inner surface of the throttle plate, then trim the edge of the bushing to the shape of the bore. If you don't contour the edge of the bushing air will leak around that area and weaken the signal through the idle circuit, this causes a lean condition and drives the MC into trying to richen the mixture. The already lean idle at 14.8 A/F controlled by the ECM just can't compensate for the extra air being added. I once replaced all the shaft bushings and the MC was full rich at idle, like dwell of 12, nothing I could do would richen the mixture. That's when I learned how important it was to contour the new bushings to the bore. Now I use a Dremel and a sanding disc to contour them, problem solved.
I also use only Cliff's accel pump cups. Have found that all supposedly Viton isn't created equal. And today anything exposed to Ethanol needs to be Viton. How many fuel hoses have we needed to replace on our old yard tools, lost count on chain saws, weedwackers, mowers, that I've done. Bob

There is also my thread that has a link to make your own Teflon throttle shaft bushings. They are especially good for the passenger side where the casting boss is so thin.

I did one and used a bronze thin wall valve guide from a import. Been a while ago but it was a 6 or 7 MM if I remember correctly.
