Mine is on the firewall below the steering column, hidden by the carpet.

Behind the glove box, used existing screw hole in the ac box to mount the control box to.

Same spot between the AC box and glove box. Screwed to the AC box. I know there is pic in Lance's build thread

Use existing screw holes or drill new holes into the plastic box? Thats what I think i'll do.
