The windows are sealed with butyl on the inside. To remove the window and the molding you see on the outside you need to remove the rear interior parts like the seat and interior side panel. This allows access to the 8 bolts that hold the window to the inside of the "sail panel". Remove the nuts from the bolts and carefully pull the window away from the butyl seal..this is very messy stuff. Don't pry too hard or you can break the window. Once the window is out, the outside molding comes off easily.
