I'm going to be buying some new interior pieces, door, console, trim, carpet, headliner, etc. Is there any that you had trouble with or are crappy made to stay away from? I have the catalog from OPG & was going to order from them. Or recommend something different?

Thanks

I've always been very pleased with Mike, highly recommend using him.
He strips cars and build's them so he knows what he is doing.

You are supporting our sponsor by buying from Mike. He is also active on the forum.

Ive been buying from and selling to Mikes for many years.
I have found lesser prices on a few things but
I believe Mikes has better products and yes, supporting a sponsor.

Nothing beats nice, used OEM interior panels. For I were you I'd hit Mike up on all the interior plastic stuff-I'm sure he has more than enough unless you have an odd color preference.

Want to switch my oxblood interior to gray.

I would also go with used, either Mike or someone parting one out in your area or salvage yard hunting. Gray isn't as common as your color but it's out there. I've been hoarding good gray stuff for awhile but anything I have is for keeps smile .

Many of the panels will be the same for other g-bodies too, pretty much everything but the rear upper panels as far as the plastic trim goes. 85'-88' share the same gray.

I had an 86 T top car that I sold when I moved to Virginia in 2010, it had gray interior. Wish I would have found a way to keep it.

G bodies were everywhere when I was foraging wrecking yards 15 years ago. I don't see them anymore at Pick N Pull.

They are getting scarce here too but still pop up in yards and people parting them out, etc. Just this year I've found three that had been off the road for 15+ years and were now available for parts for different reasons, one was a gray bucket seat 86' that I removed almost the entire interior from. Shipping might hurt if not local but posting a wanted ad on here might be worth it.
