1988 Chevy Monte Carlo SS --Silver with maroon interior. I have owned it since early 2011.
37,889 miles
Limited Slip rear and bucket seats
Original interior except for radio(Has aftermarket radio) and one rear seat belt(see below)
16x8 Iroc replica wheels with 245 50 16 tires (all 4 tires have roughly 8/32 of tread remaining)

-New front pads, rotors, inner wheel bearings, outer wheel bearings and seals
-New front and rear shocks
-New rear axle seals and royal purple diff fluid
-New rear brake drums, shoes and hardware kit
-New brake light switch
-Brake fluid flush and refill
-Freon recharged
-Antifreeze flushed and filled
-K&N Air filter
All at 36,677 miles during winter and spring of 2011

-New TCC Solenoid and tranny fluid and filter
-New low pressure AC switch
at at 36,900 miles June 2011

-Installed Hooker 2050 Emission Legal Headers, new transmission mount, new distributor cap, rotor, coil, plug wires, plugs, fuel filter and oxygen sensor at 37,537 miles April 2014

Smog pump and related hoses have been removed. No harnesses or hoses cut, saved all parts, could be made stock again(have all parts) except for metal tube to cat converter which cracked.

Cruise control removed. (To un-clutter engine bay and to free up room for addition of clutch pedal) Manual transmission swap never started. Nothing was cut and all parts saved.

Added one 3 point retractable seat belt in the rear seat to safely carry a car seat.

This is a very solid car with the only rust being very minimal and on the surface(as seen in the pictures) The pictures are meant to point out all of the small flaws. I am trying to be be very transparent and forthcoming with all that I know.
This is not a show car. It is however very clean and reliable.
The paint on the hood and trunk are not quite as shiny as the sides. A previous owner tried to paint part of the roof(I assume). You can tell when looking close. See the pictures of the paint runs behind the door windows below the roof line.

There are some small scratches and chips down low on the car. I would say it is a good 10 foot car.

The check engine light comes on sometimes right after start up when the car is idling high. It goes out after you start to drive it. (It did this before I installed the headers)

As far as I know, I am the 4th owner of the car. I have a CarFax pulled for it which verifies the mileage.

Price will start at $9200.00. Everything is negotiable, but I would rather do that in person.

Please see link to photos below.

Thanks for looking.

Any interest at a firm $8000?

Come buy it before I start the 5 speed swap next month and forget about selling it.
