I currently have 3 of the "Ramcharger" dual electric fans, and wiring harnesses that fit the 1st through 4th. Gen. Monte Carlos very well. I have these permanently mounted to my aluminum radiator in my Aerocoupe. They keep my 625 HP engine nice & cool. $200.00each for the fans & wiring harness kit, plus actual shipping.
E-mail me at protouraero@comcast.net if interested.

Can you tell me more about the harness? Is it just as pulled from a donor car? Thanks.

No it's a new universal harness with only 2 connections, hot and ground. It has 2 speeds, high and low. Weatherproof relays are built into the harness.

I have a BE COOL radiator that we made custom mount brackets welded to the rad tanks, but these can be mounted many ways.

The Ramcharger fans I bought from Mike several years ago fit the stock radiator with just a little bit of trimming on one edge and some plastic push ties thru the radiator to hold it in place.

The harness they come with is operated by just a 3 position switch. I had Jabin build me a harness with two temp switches built in plus the 3 position switch as a backup to run them and it works fantastic.

I had a pair of these fans new, and I sold them along with the harness described by Lance. Now I wish I had kept them..

Will you sell the harness alone?

I had both of my cars running these fans and was happy, tried the Mark VIII fan on the car with A/C thinking even more CFM will help but wish I would of kept the Ramcharger setup as a spare instead of selling it. Great fans and relatively quiet too, especially compared to the Mark VIII fan anyway. Glad to see they are "back", at least back in this form.

I really like how they fit. I like to go for the newer style fans with the plastic motor covers-much better looking in design IMO but same basic dimensions.

Ive had a ramcharger fan for a good 10+ years now (never used it) but am setting up to use it for next year. Is the wiring harness you describe the length of wire with weather pack pictured on the fan there or is it the piece that would connect to that and go into the car?

Not sure which of us you're asking but the universal style harnesses piggyback off the main fan harness since they are wired in series for low and high speed. There's many ways to wire them but the simplest method is a 3-gang relay setup with AC override provisions. I also set them up to both run as a three speed assembly as well which is a different harness altogether. You'll need (2) ground outputs from your ecu or use temp switches.

gmachinz: Do you have a "plug 'n play" harness for these fans? I'm looking to get the fans, and install them on an SS with the CCC system and a/c.

I do have options-including triggering high speed via the AC idle solenoid, pressure switch or clutch coil as an automatic override working in parallel with the high temp switch. I can PM ya with details on a couple options if you'd like.
