My plan is to order a rebuilt transmission from art Carr. The 3000rpm torque converter from art carr that I should use with my performer rpm cam puts me over budget. I currently have a Tci breakaway 2400 to 2600 stall with around 60k miles on it that I could use.
So the question is do I move forward and swap the converter out later when I can afford it? Or wait until I can buy both?

dont put a used converter on a good transmission. look into CPT california performance transmissions, thats the shop run and owned by Art Carr.

If the old trans had any junk in the pan/fluid then do not use the converter off that trans
