They look very "street fighter", but damn those things are heavy.

I like the military look of it. But would have flipped the tires if I bought the wheels and tires separate to dedicate to the look a little more.

i have the 15x7 Jeg's d-windows on mine. I was going for a little bit of the NASCAR look. I love black wheels. All the wheels on all three of my vehicles are black.

And if anyone is wondering, the broken stud is already fixed.

Thanks guys! Tinted windows are next on the list, I'll probably go with 20%.

Does anyone make lighter versions of these wheels?

I know there a few other brands other than cragar that make this style wheel, I think the weight is the same though. Those wheels MC96 provided a link to look good and only weigh 19lbs.

i thought about those true race wheels but I was worried that they would maybe be more prone to warpage and getting bent with road use. i know they are designed to be strong and lightweight but racetracks are pretty smooth compared to the common street with speed bumps and potholes, etc.

I had drag radials on dirt track wheels for a while, they were nice and light, but they bend easily. Not a big deal for a car that sees little use on good roads.

There's nothing fundamentally wrong about the shape of that rim that portends poor ruggedness, so it must come down to material thickness. 19lb does sound rather light for that wheel, and bending stiffness goes as the cube of material thickness, so a few extra pounds could buy a lot more ruggedness.

Or, get the same design in aluminum, but obviously much, much thicker (3x, roughly,) than the steel counterpart.

Having said all this, however, the vendor does claim that the rim is made with "HSLA" steel. I'd presume that "HS" stands for "High Strength," in which case the rim might be adequately strong for the street as-is.

Best,
