I don't have a lot of info on the boot other than it's a generic piece from fleaBay stretched around a homemade ring. The shifter slot was altered obviously but overall it was an easy job.

Jameson, I send you a couple pics of the C5-6 upper shifter boot installed. You should install a lower boot also, keeps out the dust, water, noise and fumes. Most use this one. Only available used now, discontinued by GM I hear.

Bob I have a lower boot already. I used a MR Gasket rubber one for the floor, Ironically I was looking at a C6 upper shift boot with trim ring for a Centennial edition with red stitching to match the interior. I would love to see a couple pics of how you did your install.
