I've been thinking about getting a set of American racing Ansen slot mag wheels for my SS, but I'd like to see a pic of what they'd look like before actually buying them. Google doesn't seem to have any pics, anyone here have a lead on any pics of an SS with these wheels?

They were popular in the late 60's. Just about any vintage photo of a muscle car from that era will show them.

ansen wheels look pretty cool. but I think id go with U.S. Mags before id go with American racing. U.S. Mags are made in USA. http://www.mhtwheels.com/mht-luxury-alloy-wheel.cfm?id=299. price is not much different between the two. this is just my two cents.

They should compliment the lines of the Monte perfect IMHO. Always liked that style of wheel. thumbs

the new "Ansen" slots that they came out with a few years ago look a little different than the old school true Ansens did... they are flatter with less of a "dish" to them now.. plus, they are too perfect and shiny..

86 MC SS- rough, but fixable. looks like something Dale Sr might have driven back to the transport after a race at Bristol.
