The time has come to take a little break from the car scene. Rather than sell the car complete, I have decided to sell it in parts.

The only catch is that even though the transmission most likely has a buyer, I will not be "starting the parting" until either the engine or rear end sells.

I would prefer to sell the engine absolutely complete. That means air cleaner to distributor to flexplate to March billet accessory setup. Everything.

2 bolt main 509 block 406 engine.

Wiseco Pro-tru forged pistons. 1 season old 950HP Pro systems carburetor. RPM air gap. Eagle 4340 3.750 crank on 350 mains, 6" Eagle 4340 rods. Brodix cnc chamber 200rr heads with mild portwork done by Mike Stark at CFM performance. Custom ground billet Isky hydraulic roller cam. Isky heavy duty hydro roller lifters. Afr hydra rev. Comp hi-tech stainless rocker arms, Edelbrock water pump, MSD starter, billet March mid mount accessory setup. Yadda yadda. $3500.00

Quick performance Ford 9 inch. 3.90 gears, Detroit locker, Winters aluminum centersection, strange axles, daytona pinion support, Ford racing (explorer) disk brakes, BMR single adjustable upper control arms, BMR boxed lowers, Hotchkis sway bar. $2000.00

Exhaust. Hedman Husler 65218 coated headers. 3" Torque Tech X pipe exhaust and Dynomax Ultra flo mufflers. SS style exit. $750.00

Rims/tires. American Racing TTO polished 17" wheels. 17x8 4.5 backspacing on all 4. Riken Raptor ZR tires, 245/45/17 front and 275/40/17 rear. Tires are all good, rears show more wear. Recently noticed blemishes on a couple wheels, not sure if they will show in a picture but can try. $650

The plan at this point is not to split up anything with the body. Hoping to sell the driveline and some other smaller parts, then sell the body with no drivetrain and a stock 7.5 rear in it.

Any questions on things, feel free to ask.

To be fair, I'm gonna wait until we get that far to decide. Not sure what will all end up staying or going off of it.

Would you consider the hood without the scoop? It would leave 4 holes in it needing to be repaired.

Is it a factory turbo monte scoop? I'd rather have it complete, but if you're hellbent on keeping the scoop, I suppose I could fix the holes or source a scoop myself. What would it take to get that unicorn into my grimy hands?

Its not that I'm hellbent on keeping the scoop (yes, factory turbo monte), just hadnt planned on parting out anything with the body. Buuut if I kept the scoop I could put it back on the steel hood to sell with the body.

Let me revisit this once the ball gets rolling with some of the big ticket stuff. I got the beer if you got the road trip BTW. smile
