Re: Finally got the 17" N90 Wheels - 05/10/1903:07 PM
Love the way those look on the car. I'm currently rolling on some 15" Crome Cragar SS wheels the previous owner put on. They look alright, but don't really go with the straight lines of the Monte. Hoping to swap them out for the N90s eventually. Just a couple quick questions for you. Are you using any wheel spacers on the rear? Is that the stock ride height, or have you lowered it?

No wheel spacers, I bought some expecting that I needed them, but the Nitto 275 tires cleared fine. I haven't driven the car except around the block after bolting the wheels up and didn't see/hear/feel any rubbing. When I get back in town tomorrow I hope to put a few miles on the car to make sure nothing is rubbing. The previous owner put a complete Level 2 BMR suspension on it. Not sure how much it lowered it, but it is lowered.

Those wheels/tires look perfect! The wheel backspace and tire width are perfect for the rear, I have a similar size. if you ever have trouble with tire rub on one side, you can replace the rear UCA with some adjustable ones, a slight adjustment will swing the axle left/right.

I don't ever get tired of looking at those on SSs. When I get another one, that will be one of the first things I do. Currently have a 78 Trans Am with the 17" Year One Snowflakes. Like the N90s, they were a night and day difference over the 15. Love the stance on your SS as well!!!
