Enigne running or not, doesn't matter, but the engine has to be running when you set the timing (duh) so just make sure it is unplugged when you are attempting to set the timing. I think Supernova455 suggests disconnecting the battery to clear codes

yea im not dealing with paching im just repalcing the whole roof the guy ahd bondo on it when i got the car couldnt find were it was leaking and pushed out all the bondo the deside to resore it

MAP, Great topic. As you see by the signature, the monte should push out about 435-450 hp to the flywheel. That being said I've tried two different types of drag radials, each with their own ups and downs which I will explain. Teh car they have

There is also a thin tube going down to the cat converter. A very small u bolt holds it on. I pulled mine off, and tightened that u bolt up with a bolt stuck inside the tube to prevent leakage. You can see it here in the lower left of this picture.

yea if u got to auto zone or some thing they can get them acutlly if u no were d and a auto parts is in spots wood they carry thats stuff i got my upper boots from there when i did the brake and spindle swap on my 86

I was going to ask earlier, but is/was there more than just the trans in this sale. Did the bell housing, clutch fork/boot at least come with it? If not, then it definately isn't worth $300. FWIW, I think that as long as a person would drive either/o

.. It depends on the engine build/efficiency... a poorly tuned 7.6:1 350" may get 10 MPG... a 383" built with 2 eyebrow flattop pistons, FastBurnHeads, 11:1, good quench, and mild cam may get 25-30MPG... the details of the build are far mor

Make sure the ground on the wiper motor is attached. Its the small metal "band" thats on the housing.
