Hi Folks, Here's a link to a page that shows a 3/4 front-view sketch of what an MCSS might look like with modestly stretched fenders and quarter panels: http://www.montecarloss.com/community/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=337715&page=4

How did you come up with a 415 stroker? 383 and 434 are the only sb stokers you can get with a stock 350 or 400 block and a large stroke crank. Give Pro torque a call for the convertor.

Yes that is just the small cap HEI. That's what 87-up cars have. There is a 4 wire and a 3 wire connector on the ignition module (under the distributor cap), on g-bodies you unplug the 4 wire connector to but the computer in base timing mode. Stock

I was going to ask earlier, but is/was there more than just the trans in this sale. Did the bell housing, clutch fork/boot at least come with it? If not, then it definately isn't worth $300. FWIW, I think that as long as a person would drive either/o

.. It depends on the engine build/efficiency... a poorly tuned 7.6:1 350" may get 10 MPG... a 383" built with 2 eyebrow flattop pistons, FastBurnHeads, 11:1, good quench, and mild cam may get 25-30MPG... the details of the build are far mor

Good call - that's too much for a NWC and personally I'd only go with a WC model when it comes to a T5 as even they aren't very strong.
